The III Scientific Conference "Computing Technologies and Applied Mathematics-2024" will be held at Komsomolsk-na-Amure State University.

Komsomolsk-na-Amure State University is one of the leading universities in the Far East. KnASU is one of backbone universities for the United Aircraft Corporation, and in 2014 it has been admitted as one of 12 promising universities of the Russian Federation for training personnel for the Russian defense industry.

At present, modern research equipment has been commissioned and continues to be installed at KnASU, modern educational and information technologies are being developed, and innovative projects of scientific and practical focus are being developed. The University is developing as a major scientific and innovation center, providing industry not only with highly qualified personnel, but also with promising scientific developmentsи.

The university conducts research in technical sciences and humanities. The university has one of the largest networks of dissertation councils for the defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations. Applicants come to Komsomolsk-na-Amure State University to defend their dissertations not only from all over the Far East, but also from abroad (China, Vietnam, the Union of the Republic of Myanmar and others).

Komsomolsk-na-Amure is the third largest city in the Far East. It is the largest industrial center of the Far East and Trans-Baikal in terms of manufacturing output. Currently there are more than forty enterprises operating in Komsomolsk-na-Amure, producing products meeting world standards.

Komsomolsk-na-Amure is located on the left bank of the largest Far Eastern river, 360 km northeast of Khabarovsk. The city of Komsomolsk-na-Amure and its adjacent territories own unique resources. Convenient geographical location, historical and cultural monuments, and unique nature create conditions for the development of tourism and recreation industry. Komsomolsk is surrounded by a ridge of high hills, and a person visiting the city for the first time does not leave the feeling of being in a mountainous country.

Adjacent areas of Komsomolsk-na-Amure are inhabited by the Amur River indigenous ethnic groups: Nanai, Orochi, Nivkhi, Ulchi, whose culture has deep historical roots. It originated under the influence of ties between the population of the Amur River region and China and Japan through the main trade route along the Amur River.

Komsomolsk-na-Amure has fascinating history, which is reflected in its architecture. The city's layout is a radial system that epitomizes the "sun city". Architectural ensembles of the city are examples of "palace" monumental architecture. Today in Komsomolsk-na-Amure there are 83 objects of cultural heritage of regional and federal significance, including 59 objects of cultural heritage under state protection and 24 identified objects of cultural heritage.

For residents and guests of the city there are the museum of local lore, art gallery "Metamorphosis", museum of fine arts, "Expocenter" of aviation plant, museum of shipbuilding plant, zoological center "Python", which has a remarkable collection of exotic animals. Theatrical Komsomolsk is represented by the Drama Theater, the Theater of Young Spectators "Mirror of Shadows".
